I don’t care who you vote for, just go out and
vote. If you don’t feel like voting because, “the parties do not address your issues” then go to the polling booth and mark abstain on your ballot. That way you show that you care about how the community is run.
If you do not vote or visit the polling both don’t start complaining about the level of service you get from your council, and about “greedy politicians”. In addition we all know that these scum and thugs will be using their vote, so if for nothing else vote to make sure they do not get in.

r foreigners allowed to vote in the UK? interesting…
Actually this is a matter of contention. When you register for the electoral roll (which you are meant to do by law because it is used for things such as council tax and jury duty) you are asked for name, address and age but you are not asked about nationality. This means that you are automatically put on the electoral roll and duly get a polling card. When you ask at the council, they are not bothered. You have a card, use it if you want and leave me alone seems to be their attitude.
