Nothing doing

“Attorney General Amos Wako is to have the final word on whether or not Education minister George Saitoti and Goldenberg mastermind Kamlesh Pattni should face criminal prosecution for their roles in the Sh20 billion scandal.”
Well that’s the end of that investigation. Wako seems allergic to prosecutions.

JKE
Talking of mega-corruption scandals, and taking Goldenberg for Moi’s era and Anglo Leasing for Kibaki’s - what kind of scandals happened under Kenyatta?
And how much money does it all sum up?
But it’s interesting to see how blaming others effectively works in Kenya - next time i am caught speeding on Wayaki Way, I will tell the policeman that it wasn’t me but instead my car going so fast. According to those political examples, this logical explanation should work. ^^

JKE: tragically true.
Grrrrr! Fantasies of a Bastille-like event are running through my mind.
I’m still hopeful. Someone will go down. We really just need acts of civil disobedience. We will not pay taxes, attend rallys, stop for the presidential motorcade, until this mess is fixed.
We’re good at doing nothing. Passive resistance might be the key.

Can’t someone in this friggin government make a friggin decision? Inquiry upon inquiry and not one person has been charged yet? This indecision bug seems to be biting down the totem pole from Kibaki to his cronies. I want to see people in court. Saitoti should not be holding office, infact the only thing he should be holding are jail cell bars. As for Pattni, I still wonder in amazement at how this crook continues to enjoy the light of day, he is afterall admittedly the man behind the scandal. I’m so sick of waiting. Justice Delayed is justice denied. Charge people darn it!

No surprise there. I’d be more surprised it Saitoti’s butt was prosecuted and hauled off to jail.

Actually, Wako seems allergic to doing any real work.
Cases in point:
- Goldenberg
- Goldenberg Review
- Judicial review
- Constitutional Review
….
ahhh, I don’t have all day to list his shenanigans.
