What the hell is going on with the Kibaki government? Have they totally lost their minds??

This is not Zimbabwe, where us citizens are just going to sit around and accept whatever comes. We have fought long and hard for the freedoms that we enjoy, and shame on to us if we just sit around and let this atrocity continue.

For those back at home: what is the public take on this matter? Kibaki better not even be thinking of running for another term, regardless of what Lucy tells him. Otherwise, I will personally fly back home and throw an egg on his and Lucy’s face.

This whole incident is utterly shocking! And to think that we thought these were stories of the early 90′s and eras gone by.

If you have nothing to hide, then resulting to intimidation, destruction and other such acts just makes you look far guilty. If Kibaki has nothing to hide, he should just stand up and be counted – but we all know how such stories go in Kenya.

This is appalling.

I am really shocked at the raiding of the standard offices… i seriously though those days were behind us… anyway, Kibaki should know that nowadays acts like these don’t bother kenyan journalists, just makes them more vocal.. hawatishiki

You’ll be happy to hear that he has.

Its such a shame that Kibaki’s government has resorted to the same dark, archaic and brutish tactics. The irony for me is, History really does repeat itself.
