Training secret No. 1: running away from oppressive government forces and policies

Training secret No. 2: running to get relief food as if falls from the sky.

Training secret No. 3: training with a foreign coach

Lesson: remember how the USSR had amazing athletes, many of whom defected elsewhere.

You propagate a myth there. The answer to the domination is simple. Kenyan athletes train incredibly hard.

Ahem: saying “I told you so” is so childish.

    I’m a child. Sue me.

You say that like it is new news. Did the whole Qatar thing pass you over? Or Kipketer running for Denmark? Still we dominate!

While it’s great that we did so well, let us not rest on our laurels. We seriously need to diversify sport in Kenya so that we do not depend on track and feild for the majority of our medals. Well Done to the boxing guys but It’s high time we got medals in sports like Hockey, Netball, Basketball, Weightlifting (hey if SA did it why can’t we???). These other sports will increase our medal talley. They are played at School and National Level so we need to develop our sporting expertise and stop relying on track and feild for glory…..!! No Guts No Glory so lets diversify !!
