Leather

Apparently you can get bed sheets made out of leather. LEATHER?
I do not think they will replace 550 thread count finest quality Egyptian cotton as the height in bedding luxury in my books.
Come on now! Who wants to sleep in leather?!! (Well apart from my crazy pal who told me about the sheets!)

Innocent one - you ought to knowthat for some “select” people leather is the be all and end all.
And as Dairus says, bikers would think they were in heaven.

LOL….maybe that shady jamaa who likes wearing leather jackets during the heat of summer….like the one in Nai, or a show off who will extend his love for the smell of a new car to the bedroom. LMAO, there are there!

Anon
First of all i take offence at the term “crazy” casually assuming this term bila proper medical diagnosis is disrespectful of true sufferers of the condition *ahem*
Secondly the fact that you think 500 count sheets as the heightof luxury tells me alot about your taste, budget and indeed overall experience of living the “good life”
As for the other comments, I shall quote the good book Matt 6:7
“Don’t give dogs what is sacred; don’t throw your pearls to pigs. If you do, they may trample them under their feet, and then turn and tear you to pieces”

Praise for leather beddings
They look amazing and so classy.
I would love to get some and will one day.
Does anyone else have any?
Friends of ours in the UK have a complete set of them, and are in love with them.
Photos they have sent us showing the sheets in “real life” make them look as good as they do in the ad.
I have been thinking about buying a set, but Bill says that with them on the bed and me dressed in leather he would never find me
You just have to make sure that the leather you’re wearing is a contrasting colour to your sheets… that’s all.
Of course, there will always be the heat generated from your leather when the sheets should remain cool, but I wasn’t going to go there
We bought a flat sheet and a pair of pillows last year - money couldn’t strecth to the full works, but they are well worth the money and the quality is first class.

June 7, 2006 at 1:20 pm
sokari
PS what are you doing looking at leather sheets anyway?
June 7, 2006 at 5:48 pm
Vive
Clearly we are going back in time. Now that the hideous leggings of the 80’s are back, we feel no shame in going back into the traditional times of the bantu, cushites and nilotes! We have introduced leather bedsheets! Soon we will all be living in improved manyattas with AC & Heat in the name of luxury living.

@sokari - hehehe - a friend told me about them! Thats my story and i’m sticking to it!
but yeah .. just how do you wash them?
@Vive - to be honest i’m tempted to try them out. I’m not a fan of leather, never owned the leather coat and i wouldnt put leather seats in my car or in my house but …. i’ll give them a go. Now just to find someone who has a pair!

Leather sheets…..My first thought was errrr, is that not a bit kinda sorta like what our forefathers used to wear kitambo? stiff and all?
My second thought….errrr, I hear hey are all soft and things.
I dunno. How much tanning do you have to do to get em soft? and will they then still be leaher?
Halafu……LOL@ ILR, woiye Mental, hata mimi I did not know what the heck that means, but you have taken the below the belt )leather belt, tihihi), bashing so that we can all gfet to know what ILR is cus in all truth, O was thinking International Livestock Reserch…..can’t balem me…it also leather related no?

KM picks placard for “Down with anon andikaring mavi” and queues behind Mocha….but stilllll on the fence is where me I am most comfy, so my placard on the other side reads….and I quote ” LOOOL @ Anon”….to be turned when deemed necesssary.
LOOOL, haiya, me I am in a good mood leo.

leather sheets for me big no no.
uncomfortable as soon as it gets hot so do the sheets
then gets cold same thing happens. How in the world do you
enjoy your sleep? Sleep is a very precious thing and you have
to be comfortable, leather sheets for sure no comfort.

I think this would be a suitable topic for my first video cast. I will tape myself sleeping in leather sheets and then we can watch how my body reacted to being wrapped in cow skin. Who knows it might be sawa! To make the study fair we need at least 5 more people to do the same. Any takers?
