KenyaUnlimited in the Kenyan MSM

The Kenyan main stream media (MSM) seems to be slowly waking up to the blogging community. While I was busy gallivanting on my way to Delhi on the 15th of December 2006, The Daily Nation had an article entitled “Surf for that lost classmate” which focused on various Kenyan online communities. (Unfortunately the article is in the premium content section of the Daily Nation website – you have to fork out money to read it online.)

I was happy to read that KenyaUnlimited and KBW members feature heavily in the article. The only image of that accompanied the article was a screenshot of KenyaUnlimited and damn it looks good

It would have been nice for the Daily Nation to contact us for clarification on the role KenyaUnlimited plays in the Kenyan blogosphere, but at least we are now on the MSM’s radar in a growing way.
