WSF - Windsor and Norfolk Shut down

Well the inevitable happened. Just over an hour ago a large group stormed the Windsor Golf and Country Club food tent taking a lot of food in the process. A short while later the group moved to The Norfolk’s food tent with similar results. As a result, under heavy police guard, both hotels have decided to pack up their things and leave. I do not think they’ll be back. The only surprising thing about all this is that it did not occur earlier.

I just hope the workers manning the tents are not surcharged by their employers.It would be a case of poor people hurting each other

Beats me how a social forum locked out the small-scale enterpreneurs and hired the fat cats.

the message has been passed and that is the beauty of this decade. the message get’s home no matter what!

I spent a day at the WSF and I refused to go pay those ridiculous prices for food. Good to hear they’re out.

Great reporting D, lakini, will you post about forums and stuff later? Or were you more of a roving reporter? I think the Mainstream Media has been really lax about covering the event.

On looking at the menu items appropriately self-baptised “Sideshow”, Windsor should have provided varied food choices to cater for different budgets. I’m sure subsidizing some of those meals would not have dented their pockets. They make mega profits on a daily basis and the WSF would have been their chance to shine with a true sense of CSR.
Mental, great job with the breaking news updates and the uploading of pics :D
