In memory of the Kenya Airways Flight KQ507 that crashed in Douala, Cameroon on Saturday, KenyaUnlimited has set up a KQ507 tribute site where you can leave your message of support for the families and friends of all those affected by this tragedy. These messages will be printed and delivered to Kenya Airways at an appropriate time.
The page can be found here.
Please visit the KQ507 tribute site to leave a message of support and sympathy.
Please link the KQ507 tribute site from your blogs and websites.
Please spread the word about the KQ507 tribute site.
It would be brilliant if we could deliver a big bundle of messages full of heartfelt tributes.
If anyone out there can create a button we can put on our blogs to show support that would be brilliant too.
Our brothers and sisters from outside Kenya and Africa please feel free to leave a message as well.
Let us stand together, united, to honour those on Kenya Airways KQ507. Pamoja.

It is with great sadness in my heart that i would like to pass on my sincere condolences to all the families that has suffered losses on KQ507. I can only imagine what you must be going through. I have also lost a very dear friend, CHARLES JANUARY on that flight. It is agonising to think that we cannot do anything to make it better. My prayers are with you and we can only celebrate these people and keep going on. I know that is what my friend would have wanted me to do. I know in my heart that out of this tragedy will come great things. God is still in control and he can command the storm to be still. Even if you feel this dark hour will never end, just remember to live one day at a time and to keep trusting God to see us through. THE DARKEST HOUR IS JUST BEFORE DAWN.

Death is a reality and this just reminds us that we all one day will die. Question is, where will you go when you die?
I also want you to know that death is defeated for it only takes away the life on earth but there’s a painless joyful life thereafter in Christ Jesus.
‘O death, where is your sting?….’

That KQ 507 crash brought back very painful memories of the last KQ crash in Abidjan. Having gone through such a situation, I know that no amount of consolation may make sense at the moment to the families and friends of the crash victims and may take a while to overcome the grief. Take comfort in knowing that God has not left you and sometimes events like those may come up to test our strengths. All of us one time will go to be with our maker and it’s in Gods own perfect time. What’s left for us is give thanks to God for the time he had given our loved ones and take knowledge in knowing we will meet again at Jesus feet.
