Although you may stumble across a few good individuals in the 9th parliament, collectively they were a big disappointment. More interested in their salaries, interest free Prados, health insurance, than they were in the building the nation.
Let us work to make the 10th parliament worthy of our great country.

Perhaps this parliament is in itself a reflection of the low expectations we Kenyans have of our bunge
Maybe this time we might actually try to elect officials with genuine development agendas rather than get-rich-quick individuals hiding in cosmetic campaigns

The Kenyan parliament should vote to pay MPs the regular civil servants’ salary, with allowances for travelling, etc. Then we will see who is truly interested in dedicating their life to serving Kenyans and not just getting elected to get rich quickly. The salary increment awarded to MPs should be used to improve education in Kenya in its entirety, from nursery to university. Will our honourable representatives take this challenge? If the answer is no, then the jopb they want is simply not for them!
